🪸🐠🌴 Davana World Tour Part 52: Yasawas Adventure - Drawaqa Island 🌊 We said goodbye to the Blue Lagoon Beach Resort and headed to the beautiful Drawaqa Island. Here, we're diving into the lively beauty of Barefoot Manta Island Resort @barefoot_manta in Fiji. The area is a Taboo - No Fishing Zone, a tradition kept by the local Fijian landowners to protect young fish and help fish numbers grow, ensuring there's always enough fish for the community. The untouched coral reefs are full of vibrant colours, and this area is considered one of Fiji's best snorkelling spots. Researchers have counted 15 types of sharks, 7 types of rays, over 300 fish types, and more than 60 coral types. The marine team even found 15 new kinds of fish, with 5 possibly being unknown to science. It feels like we're in a real-life Avatar movie, ending the day with a stunning sunset.
